Webhackz

Terms of Service

Last updated September 12, 2026

Webhackz gives you six free file tools that run entirely inside your own browser — your files are never uploaded to us or stored on any server. These terms explain the rules for using the site and, in plain language, what our ads and analytics do collect; this document is for transparency and general information, not legal advice.

The short version

Effective date: September 12, 2026.

Webhackz (https://webhackz.com) is a free set of web-based file tools operated by an individual. By using the site, you agree to the terms below.

The most important thing to know: your files are processed on your own device, inside your browser. They are never uploaded to us. The site does, however, show ads and use analytics, and those third parties collect some visitor data — we explain exactly what, in the sections below.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Webhackz, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

There are no accounts here — no sign-up, no login, nothing to register. Simply using the tools counts as accepting these terms.

These terms apply to everyone who visits the site or uses any of the tools.

What Webhackz is

Webhackz is a suite of six free, web-based file tools. There's no charge to use any of them, and there's no paid tier.

The tools are:

  • Audio Cutter — trim and cut audio files.
  • Transcribe — turn speech into text using OpenAI's Whisper model, which runs locally in your browser.
  • Compress Images — reduce image file sizes.
  • Merge PDF — combine multiple PDFs into one.
  • Split PDF — separate a PDF into multiple files.
  • Compress PDF — reduce PDF file sizes.

Your files stay on your device

Every tool processes your files entirely in your own browser, using standard browser features and WebAssembly. Your files — audio, images, PDFs, and their contents — are never uploaded, transmitted, received, logged, or stored on any server. Webhackz itself does not collect, receive, or store any of the files you work with.

The Transcribe tool downloads OpenAI's Whisper model into your browser and runs it there. Your audio is never sent anywhere; the transcription happens on your own device.

You keep all rights to the files you process. Because everything happens locally, we never see your files and have no copy of them — so there's nothing for us to access, share, or return.

To be clear, this "never leaves your device" promise is about your files specifically. It does not describe the ads and analytics on the site, which are covered further down.

Your responsibilities when using the tools

You're responsible for the files you choose to process. That means you should have the right to use them, and you shouldn't use the tools for anything unlawful or for content you don't have permission to handle.

Please don't use Webhackz to:

  • process content you don't own or have the rights to use;
  • create, handle, or distribute unlawful material, or material that infringes someone else's rights;
  • attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the site or its code;
  • misuse the site in any way that could harm other visitors or the service itself.

Ads, analytics, and other third-party services

While your files stay private, the website itself does load a few third-party services that collect visitor data. We want to be upfront about this — it wouldn't be honest to say the site does no tracking at all.

Here's what runs on the site:

  • Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-8408807979150672) displays ads. Google and its advertising partners use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and personalize ads and measure how they perform. This includes Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick / Google ad cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Third-party vendors may also serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Clicky Analytics (getclicky.com, site ID 101511655) is a privacy-friendly analytics service that collects aggregate visit data — pages viewed, the site you came from, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and your browser and device type — so we can understand overall site traffic.
  • Hosting on Cloudflare Pages: like any website host, our provider may automatically process standard technical request data (such as your IP address and user agent) in order to deliver and secure the site.

Cookies and your ad choices

Webhackz doesn't set any first-party cookies for the tools themselves. Cookies and identifiers may be set by Google AdSense (and potentially Clicky) as described above.

You have controls over all of this:

Children's privacy

Webhackz is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. The site is intended for users aged 13 and over (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to this kind of service).

We don't ask for or knowingly collect personal information from children. Keep in mind, though, that the third-party ad and analytics services described above may collect data as part of how they work, and we don't control that collection.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, please email us at inspire510zx@gmail.com and we'll do what we reasonably can to address it.

Intellectual property

The Webhackz website, name, design, and the code we've written are owned by the site's operator. Please don't copy, rebrand, or redistribute the site as your own.

Webhackz is built partly on open-source components, including the tools that make in-browser processing possible. Those components remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own licenses. Nothing here changes or overrides those licenses.

Your files and their contents are yours — this section is only about the site and its code, not the material you process with it.

No warranties — the site is provided "as is"

Webhackz is offered free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the tools working well, but we can't make promises about them.

In particular, we don't guarantee that the site will always be available, that it will be error-free, or that any tool's results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Because processing happens on your own device, results can vary with your browser, hardware, file types, and file sizes. Some files may not work as expected, and larger files may not process on lower-powered devices.

Please keep your own copies of important files. You use the tools at your own risk, and you're responsible for checking that the results meet your needs before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator of Webhackz won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site.

Since Webhackz is provided free of charge and never receives your files, our responsibility for any issue is limited accordingly. This doesn't remove any rights you may have that can't legally be waived.

Not professional advice

Webhackz is a set of utility tools, not a source of professional advice. Anything the tools produce — including transcriptions — is provided for general use and may contain errors.

Don't rely on the site's output for legal, medical, financial, or other professional decisions. If you need that kind of advice, please consult a qualified professional.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, if the tools change or if we add or remove a third-party service.

When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top. Continuing to use Webhackz after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the operator's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply.

Contact

Webhackz has no newsletter, contact form, or store. The one way to reach us is by email.
